DUBLIN (Reuters) - Ryanair has reopened its online reservation system after an upgrade originally scheduled to last until late on Monday, though it still expected some minor glitches for a few days, it said on Sunday.
British and Irish media reported last week that Ryanair would have to revamp its Web site in order to comply with a ruling by Britain's Office of Fair Trading (OFT) that headline fares on the site should show their full cost, including taxes.
"On Tuesday, Ryanair will release 1 million seats for just 1p ($0.02) inclusive of taxes and charges, proving the OFT and the media's much hyped demise of the 1p fare wrong," Ryanair,, Europe's largest low-cost carrier, said in a statement.
